First, I'd like to say that I just provided a quick n dirty patch so I
could maximize my windows.
To properly implement this, there are a few things that need changing.
Remembering relative distance from the borders sounds like a good idea.
That would also help for people who have multiple monit

I like the idea. The user set the size of any maximised window.
What do you think about remembering the number of
pixels from the top, bottom, left and right side of the screen ?
It would handle better a resolution change i believe.
Also it would need a little tool to select graphicaly the corner

Maybe call it archived to reference that they are not active and
mostly kept as a reference, but I agree that this would be a good idea
as long as we can maintain the CVS history.

attached a little patch which delays the password input after the
screensaver timeout locks your screen. I found it helpful when I didn't
create any input event awhile and the timed out screensaver force me to
enter my password while sitting in front of the computer.
The patch only applies co

options to the e_config variables. Wondering why nobody recognized it?
It also adjust slightly the ordering of some code lines for better
reading.
Bye,

I'm not sure to understand you're answer.
Did you test the patch ? The way you describe the things are how
they _should_ happend. Closing the popup after the first desktop change.
If it's not the case for you, please tell me what you're pager setting
are, so maybe i can reproduce that.

I recently saw a British magazine (Linux Format) which had
an article on e17 ("The Road to Enlightnement"), and of course I went
ahead and bought the mag -- just for the heck of it.
Interesting stuff.. I never knew that raster was planning
secret tools to simplify theming and desk
