In short what I would like to do:
Run the same E session on different X sessions simultaneously.
Reason for this madness:
I have a system that lack video output. It is a solid little netbook though,
just lacks a video out device. The internal GPU is an intel and I'd like to
pick up an external d

I ask about emprint because I'm used to using it in a few personal scripts.

Hello,
am quite active today :)
What really bothers me is this strange icon view in file browsers. To
me it is of no worth. I can't find anything in this fancy wallpaper. It
also draws in further problems like that the label is pushing the
neighbours out of sight in efm. Breaking the labels or ev

Hello,
this seems to be a bit off topic but, at least to me, it seems to be
more crucial than one might guess. Re-thinking how a login manager for
e17 would look like and how to make that work, I found, that too many
toys draw in the need for 'just another' scripting language or
dependency (like P

I think that's an old bug that has been fixed some time ago.

There is elsa, but I can't get that to work. Others can. Try your luck. I
use startx automatically via /etc/inittab.

Is that the wall-like zoomed out desktops overview, or the zoomed out
windows overview? Anyway, try the comp-scale module. Load module, then

Hello,
my system is reduced to what I need, and that's why I keep GNOME or KDE
stuff from my disk. But that brings in some annoyances like the broken
and incapable X Session Manager or the 'basic' slim login-manager. Do
you have plans in these directions?

I don't think you want sticky if each desktop is to show a different folder.
Anyway, I don't think efm can do that now. There is a setting to change the
folder that is to be shown, but that's about it. As an alternative, you
could use a folderview screenlet:

Hello,
because I switched from Compiz, I'm heavily missing the Exposé. Do you

Hello,
I'm quite active with my mouse on screen and very often touch edges and

why I don't want the mouse to switch workspaces. But I still want to

Efm, instead of other file managers, moves instead of copies files when

Hello,
Trac told me that I'm a spammer, so I try to spam on here ;)
The problem seems to appear when switching workspaces. The window under
the mouse pointer is not focused but gets the clicks. The focused
window gets the keyboard input.

Hello,
I'd like to have different 'Desktop' folders shown on different
workspaces. Because 'traditionally', and in case of e17, the file
manager handles the 'Desktop' folder, I guess, that efm is the right
target. Because it is the most flexible product, I'd wish efm to
do it. But I'm also fine, i
Hello,
I couldn't find an efm binary or another way to start efm from shell or
with a starter. Also, the efm windows are not recognized by xsm, the X
Session Manager, even with smproxy running. As far as I understand it,
efm isn't an own process a session manager could track. This makes
