For me trayer is the only standable system tray at the moment. I
installed OpenGEU recently and there was fbpanel in action. Before they
used the panel from xfce i think. I disklike both of them because i
don't need the menus and all the stuff.
Trayer can be integrated quite well in the E17

Cool, excellent. Strange is right, I thought those entries in

they were interfering. Anyway, well done.
As expected the entries in /etc/apt/preferences are needed. No
installation worked perfektly.

Hi!
Although this is not a direct E17 problem i'm sure many of you are using
Debian. I just set up my box with Debian/unstable and wanted (of course)
e17 on it. I found the e17 repository on edevelop.org and was really
happy about it. but now when i do an apt-get i get the error msg E:
: *** [all] Error 2
Is there a problem in the cvs or did i miss something?

I justed switched my desktop-pc from gentoo to ubuntu. But thats not the
fact. I want to stick to e17 of course and i try now for 3 days to find
working deps for my dapper-drake installation. Is there a good way of
doing the installation with deb or is it better to install directly

Greetings,
Simple question: Right now Gnome is the default window manager. I'd
like to change that to Enlightenment. How do I do that?
Depends on the distribution you have. For me its in /etc/rc.conf
XSESSION=Enlightenment
But there are several other possibilities.
:).
