Hello all,
XFCE has a nice feature where you can bind the combination of alt +
double click to maximize/restore the active window. Is this possible
in E17 ? I looked over to the key binding menu but it seems that you
can only do this for single click + key

You could bind a key to launch the terminal, and another for the
shade up mode toggle. Unfortunately the shade-up doesn't seem to
work with frame-less windows (windows without the top title border).
Regarding the quickaccess module, un-check transient and the binding
will exist for new windows.

I had e17 crash while launching EFM (the module was already loaded),
when i used a custom theme. When i switched back to the default, EFM
didn't crash. Later i found out that the custom icons set by that
theme caused EFM to misbehave

A few weeks ago I nuked my root (while trying to copy an image to a flash
drive). After it, I reinstalled my Debian Wheezy and recompiled E final
release.
The thing
FWIW I compiled it under debian/testing (32bit) with the following:
CFLAGS=-O3 -fvisibility=hidden -ffast-math
as mentioned here: http://www.enlightenment.org/p.php?p=about/e17l=en
(the whole process for ubuntu applies to debian too)
