My Elan IIe's ECF is very reliable, I think results vary from individual, or
one camera body to another.
The Elan 7e has a shiny (almost slippery) black finish. I liked the matte
finish of the IIe, although I would agree black is a preferred color.
The 7e is too small to be a real camera.

The most likely way you could use this technique would be to "push" your

Hi,
I'd just like to publicly thank Henry Posner for the excellent service
provided by B&H Photo-Video to myself recently on my purchase of an
EF 70-200 F/2.8L lens.
As promised, price matched with Camera World and delivered without fuss.
Thoroughly recommended.
Cheers!
Paul.

Friends,
I have decided the D30 is not designed for my application. I have a
D30, extra battery, two-battery grip and 1 gig. memory card for sale.
All equipment is like new and I still have all boxes, warranty and bill
of sale. Please e-mail me privately for details and prices.

Hi all -
Me again! ;-) I understand (I think) that a non-optical extension
tube just allows you to focus closer to the subject. I see that Canon
makes the following: an EF-12; EF25; and and a Variable EF15-25
extension tube.
Would someone be so kind as to briefly describe the virtue
Ok...thanks John, this helps...I do have a few more questions though...soMy
75-300 Cannon lens ranges from f4-5.6...f5.6 would be at the top end of my
zoom (300mm)...by using 800 speed film and setting the ISO to 200, I could
effectively fool my camera into thinking that at 300mm it is shooting at
Thanks Tom...this really helps...How could I use this in conjunction with my

conditions??? The problem is that I cannot afford the $100,000.00 (not
quite that much, but might as well be) for the Cannon 300mm f2.8 or the

think it works for the Rebel series, the Elan series and the EOS-IX

Sorry, just a quick history question - when did the change from
ASA/DIN to ISO film rating happen? Are we all using the same one now?
I guess it's obvious, but ISO is the same as the old ASA, right? and
ISO I'm guessing is something like "International Standards Org."?
