Ken is correct, the ES-65 is the hood made for the Mk I lens, but the newer one will fit as well. However, the new hood relies on an adapter ring that makes putting it on and take it off much more difficult. I cursed it for years until Julian once pointed out that there were two different versions.

I just got my "new" lenses. I bought from a local guy two lenses, used EF 28mm f2.8 and EF 50 mm f1.8 Mk I. My first prime lenses by the way. Both are in excellent condition and virtually look like never used in all surfaces and outfit. The price was 300 euros including the postage, so the deal
