Hi everyone,
I just updated my system (openSUSE 15.4, etherlab from the open build service)
and noted that the new ethercat-kmp-rt package links against the
kernel-rt-5.3.18 from the main repository. When I set up my system, they linked
against kernel-rt from the sle repository, which is a much
Hi everyone,
I have problems with the etherlab-repository under open-suse 15.4:
Ethercat-kmp-rt links against a kernel-rt package 5.14.21. The main repository
supplies kernel-rt 5.3.18, kernel-rt 5.14.21 is found in an sle repository.
However, this kernel is missing some drivers relevant to me

Hi everyone,
we are experiencing weird data losses on the DLS. Everything works as expected
for a couple of hours. Then, suddenly, there is a message in the logs from
dlsd_logger declaring an unexpected high time difference in a number of
channels followed by a message that the msr protocol was
mpilation failure or a runtime failure
in the included S-Functions.
Try to generate the code for the grt-Target. I think you will get the same
result.
You talk about messages in a stateflow chart, Etherlab messages??
Best regards

Hi everyone,
I am using the Etherlab environment together with the etherlab Simulink
library. For the actual program procedure, I rely mostly on the Stateflow
blocks in Simulink. Usually this works quite well, but I have encountered
random crashes while compiling several times now. Typically i
works as expected.
Good luck!

I am trying to set up a Beckhoff EL6992 terminal and ran into some unexpected

Here is my problem:

Apparently, your slave is already in an error state before you start your

I have an opensuse 15.2 with the etherlab environment installed from the igh

Hi,
I have never tried, but couldn't you simply manually define a higher
bytes-per-inode ratio with mkfs.ext4 -i ?
Arch-Wiki has some explanations on the topic:

Hello Richard and Florian,
Thank you for your help!
@ Richard: Shouldn't Florian's solution solve any problems with 4.4-rt kernels?
Or do you expect this to be a general problem with 15.2? I did not notice any
problems with the 5.3-rt kernel I have installed right now.
@ Florian, could you
Hi there,
I am trying to install the ethercat Master on a fresh install of opensuse 15.2
from the repository science:EtherLab.
Unfortunately, I get errors on installing ethercat-kmp-rt. The packages
kernel-rt, headers and firmware are installed, the rt kernel is loaded.

Hi,
A public wiki is a great idea!
We have been using the igH Master for years now, so we might be able to
contribute a bit as well.
Cheers,
Amos
