way past this comment at this point, but dug up the towing capacity of the PHEV
Escape - rated for an impressive 3500 lbs. Seems to be best in class. RAV4
was only 2500, Model Y was 3200.

I can't seem to find the towing capacity of the Escape. I don't know that I've
ever seen a boat behind one of those... might be worth double checking.
A lot of people are eyeballing that new Rav4 and comparing to the Escape and Y
- and apparently it stacks up very well (to the escape

I think Marko is in the middle of rebooting Fiamp, after taking it offline for
a fender bender. AC drive this go around!

Howdy all - have a thing here and I'm wondering if anyone else has ever run
into it.
On my EV (electravan from the 80's), I have an electric reverse going via an
sw202 contactor. Did a motor swap fairly recently to a 7" Prestolite, which
has a tach send + tachometer that were in use on the
oh sorry, wow, a bit rusty! The voltage on those is 3.2 nominal, yes? then
it'd be 2.4576 kwh

I'm researching this as well, and there are gaping holes in my salvage pack
research.
Not wanting to hijack the thread, but along these lines (as an Electravan owner
myself...) has anyone successfully found a good salvage option that can easily
break down to a 144v pack? (or in my case, I can

Howdy all - I have an oldie-but-goodie DCP Raptor 600 and I'm looking to add a
tach sensor (for rev limiting).
It's the older style Raptor that took the black/white light photocell trigger.
2 pulses per revolution style. NOT the updated Zolox style one.
I think originally this was an add
That video is well worth the watch if you have 15 mins to spare. Very well

There are a few of us out here who have the old Jet Electravans, which are
very similar to that little van you posted. It was based around an 80's
Subaru 600 body and would make a good case study.
Mine's been heavily modified and upgraded over the years, but if I recall,

Oh actually - and regarding your solar panel idea - most people will tell
you that's a pipe dream and you'd need a gigantic array to get even a
slight range boost and that it will wreck your aerodynamics - but hey, my
van was just such an experiment when on campus at Mankato State.

That is absolutely non-stop hilarious.
