Yeah, we have two vehicles. The Tesla in my name and a Honda in my wife's
name. Since we bought the Tesla, we do most of our driving in it. In the last
year we have driven the Tesla almost 5x as many miles as the Honda.

Tesla knows that they need a lower cost line of vehicles if they wish to keep
growing sales. So they will certainly do such a thing.

If the Owner's Manual can be believed, the brake pedal is not required. Have
you tried that reboot without using the brake pedal? I did that a handful of
times while driving in my early days of Tesla ownership. I haven't had to do
it for two or more years.
