I am very interested about that bug (I didn't know about it and I am
kicking myself for not trying it), as my installations all use NFS to
access their home directory.
This is utterly important to fix. Do you know under which bug # this is

Any reason you couldn't switch to maildir over mbox? :)

Thanks, this should be fixed on CVS. Sorry about the bug.

Hi all,
I've sent something like this to the list a day ago, or I think I did ;^)
I've noticed that, Outlook 2000 can export to dBase DBF format.
I think, I'm able to create an import filter for Evolution, if someone points me out how to do it.
Actually I'm a beginner with Unix C/C++, I was u
I cant pin it down yet, but Evo has quit fetch new mail. I have 2 IMAP
accounts.
When I restart Evo, I have a bunch of new mail. This is similar
behavior that was present with the IMAP filtering problem.
I have seen it with 09250808. Not sure about previous versions.
Anybody else see this?

all i've done is enable the E-conduits in the NEW gnomecc, then hit the Hot

You betcha. Maildir breaks the mail into seperate files rat
So, I've realized that one of the only two things I still use mutt for
is handling list digest messages (the other being re-sending mail).
I'm curious - those of you who get this list (or any other list) in a
MIME digest - have you found an effective way to handle those messages
in Evolution?

Thanks much for the info. I can see that maildir definitely has many
advantages.
However, I am a bit confused. Will maildir eliminate this file locking
problem that Evo experiences when downloading mail from a POP server and
storing it in its mbox file in, for example, ~/evolution/local/Inbox?

Starting from 0.12 I have this same problem - evolution starts up only
if run as root. 0.13, 0.14 behaves this way too.
Currently if I try to run evolution as usuall user I get dialog box
saying: Cannot initialize the Ximian Evolution Shell: Configuration

This is bugzilla bug #2111. I don't know if we'll be able to tackle it
by 1.0.

This is fixed on CVS.
I remember being able to add contents of a VCF card to my Contacts. With
Beta 3 and 4 I can't anymore ? I can do it only if I save the VCF file and
then import it which is un-cool :-(.

First, what I have been doing is:
1) update the cvs with 'cvs co -P name-of-tree'
