Is there a way to automatically accept a meeting? One of the filters
that I've overlooked perhaps?
If not, could that feature be added?

I saw this project recently posted to Freshmeat:

pretty slick but since it requires Jboss, it might be a bit over my

I logged into my mail server and simply deleted the offending message.

Even so, how do I "Send" it once it's been "Open"ed? "Send" doesn't
appear to be an option.

Not sure if this is a usability problem on my part or something I'm
overlooking or a bug. But there's two issues with tasks that I've
found:
1) When I complete a task (checkbox) that's been assigned by some other
Evo user, that user (the assigner) isn't notified. I think he should
be.
2) When

One of the things I miss most from my Windows days was how drop dead
easy it was to type Extended ASCII characters. Alt + code. That's
all. Worked from any text entry window. If I wanted an enye (n with a

A few weeks ago, someone in this list posted instructions for publishing

It seems like a lot of good and useful information. But i

However, I happen to agree with you that there should be a dialog to
cancel that would pop up if you delete an appt. Either that, or make it
easier (toolbar icon?) to cancel an appt.

I'm doing the exact same thing as Kenneth. One RH 7.1 server (X client)
and four Win98 machines running Cygwin/XFree86 (X server). Not doing
SSH but rather logging in to the Gnome desktop with Evo autostarting.
Works well. If I get ambitious, I might try SSH to avoid having to
login to the Gno
This is configurable in the Calendar Settings, General tab. I've set

I've got the same components as you and I haven't run into this, thank
goodness. It sounds awful.

I understand. But Non-Participant is (or can be) also used for CC'ing
someone about a meeting. You want them to know about the meeting but
not require their participation. This was a often used feature of
Groupwise, the hands down best Groupware app I've ever used. No offense

If there's a better place for feature requests, please advise.

I think I'll have to play around with it using your suggestions to fully
realize its use. And then persuade the doc writers to do the same. :)
Thanks!

Sorry, I didn't explain that well at all. What I was referring to was
searchable archives of the Evo mailing list. I would dearly love to
search on items before asking questions.

Is there any way to run Evo on a Win machine? (Sorry if this has
already been asked but I couldn't find a way to search the archives.)

Is there a way to start Evolution with To: and Subject: via the command

I'd like to be able to plug Evolution as my mailer into my new browser

this.
Bingo!! I hadn't noticed that. Thanks!

I'm using Evo v0.99.2 and I really like it. I find new things to like

raised. I didn't find it very easy to search through the archives.
