There are Ximian aspell/pspell/gnome-spell packages for each of the
platforms we support. Packages which are found on google, rpmfind, etc.
may not work so well on your system.

Hello, all.
I am sorry if this has been asked before.

I've been trying to get evolution to play a wav-file when receiving new
mail, but so far haven't been able to. It stores the path to file as it
is supposed to, but nothing is played when new email is received. I
wonder: do evolution rely on some external program to play wav-files?

It relies on ESounD (which is what libgnome's gnome_sound_play() routine
relies on assuming it is built with sound support on your system).

If you aren't using Connector, you can use a kludge that was tossed into
Evo 1.0 at the last minute for it. Quit evolution, run killev, and
open ~/evolution/config.xmldb. Add a section:
section path=/Addressbook
entry name=default_book_uri type=string value=LDAPURL/

Hi,
I just happily switched from netscape mail to evolution, with one
exception: How do you get evolution to move mail out of /var/spool/mail/
after checking a spool file? Netscape used movemail for this task, but
evo seems to just leave the mail there. How can I get the mail moved
upon check?
I am looking for a list like this one dealing with Nautilus, anyone
aware of where I could submit some questions?
