and KOrganizer to connect to my eGroupWare instance. I'd really, really

I'm running 2.12 on SuSE 10.3, and like the new mail notification
applet; however, it only notifies on inboxes, doesn't seem to be
configurable via the Edit, Plugins menu, nor does it raise the Evo
window when clicked on.
Can it be configured to do any of these things?

I use the Google Calendar via a Gmail account, and get the same problem.
As you said, Web access seems fine, so it looks like an Evo issue.

Evolution with something other than the mail window (e.g. evolution -c
calendar), then switching to the mail window.
Not sure if that's your problem, as you were not particularly specific
with the detail you supplied.

As far as I know, renaming the folder will cause Evolution to start as
new. Make sure you do "evolution --force-shutdown" in a terminal session
before moving anything.

You should know that the odd-numbered releases (e.g. 2.9.x) are similar
to the Linux kernel in that they are development releases and not
considered ready for production use.
