I have created a list AD contacts for the frequently used SMTP addresses.
Suppose, I receive a mail from existing (AD contact enabled) internet

user, Exchange server resolves his email address into user-friendly

1) Have you set up the bypass proxy connections so that IE is going directly
to the server and not via a firewall?
2) Try using the full IM address ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) rather
than just the email address ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) of the user to log on

What business goal are you actually trying to accomplish here?
Going on the assumption you want in inbound only (no outbound) or outbound
only (no inbound) connector. Technically it probably can be done, but it
isn't going to be very clean.

You've got it exactly right.
Subscribe a public folder to the list, with its subscription set to receive
all mail.
Then subscribe your own mail account to the list, but there is an option for
it to not receive mail (funny enough, the NOMAIL option).
I'm on about 30 lists as well, and I sub all
I subscribe all of ours to one address and to one public folder and then let
rules move them to the appropriate sub folders from there. That way there is
only one address to worry about. It makes it cleaner for me.

this specifically. We are not only upgrading our Exchange but upgrading our

Standard Edition, Probably SQL 6.5 Standard, SMS 2.0, and I think Proxy

For the longest time, my users could use Outlook (97 or 2000) and use Word
as their editor (using Word 97).
As of a week ago, suddenly, on of my users can't send attachments with Word
as the editor. If you turn off use work as your editor,

version of Netshield from the new 'rents. We are AHEAD of them on e-mail as
we use OL98 and Exchange 5.5 while they are still using OL97 on OpenMail.
