One thing you can do is move the fax number ~ that will remove the duplicate

Hi gurus,
I'm installing a brand new Exchange 2000 server to migrate our present Exch
5.5 mailboxes onto. This will be part of a new Win2K domain (which is
already up and running).
Q1: Shall I set up the server as a DC so it won't have to constantly verify
credentials against the existing DC s
That's what I was thinking too, thanks Chris. Does anyone else use a smarthost on the
inside interface of their firewall? I really don't have the hardware to setup
anything outside of the firewall that would be reliable enough to handle our mail.
Thank you,
Jeremy

Chris,
If you're behind a firewall/proxy of some type (with your server having a
private IP address) and don't have any inbound SMTP port forwarding
configured (as you don't use inbound SMTP) then you have nothing to worry
about. Spammers could only use your server as a relay if you have port 25
Here's a WAG...Do you happen to have URL filter? like Surfcontrol WEB ...so
forth (choose your own flavor insert answer) maybe it's interfering with the
OWA.
I had a similar problem once.ok maybe twice or more...it was the URL
filter server and the rules setup in it...a little modifications t
Just to ask, are you only going to use this for exchange? If so then just
like everyone has said. However if you are going to be doing other backups
with this software then the OFO is worth the cash. We currently run 8.6 with
the OFO, Exchange, and SQL options installed, however we run 3 drives
Because..there is too much info, the name and smtp address run together and
since the "window" is so small he cant seem to figure out which one is FAX

The Exchange 2000 version of this script is up for a while at
http://www.cdolive.net/download/StoreEvent-SaveAttachment.zip but there
is no documentation available and you need to read up on MSDN/TechNet
how that stuff is supposed to work if you never used an Exchange 2000
Store Event Sink.

well this is at my home mini-lab... Just playing.
Plus, I like checking my pop accounts from a single OWA =)

A google search for SPOOLSS.DLL found it in a few seconds.

Hello the list,
I am unfortunate enough to be responsible for a network full of old Windows
95/98 machines and wondered if anyone out there with Windows ME could send
me a copy of the SPOOLSS.DLL version 4.90.0.3000 please?
My working life seems to be spent fiddling around with printer settings a
You just need the Exchange option.
He is a salesman - he wants your money (and his cut), that is why he wants
you to buy the OFO. There is absolutely no need for it on an Exchange
server. The open file option attempts to back up your database (which is
open), which the Exchange option does in a s
It's not a flat file. It's a specialised relational database with
transaction logs. Need specialised software - the Backup Exec Exchange
Agent.

I am also assuming that I can add it on later? But I am not sure if I need it,
especially after reading Lori Hunter's response.

1.) From the FAQ I only see:
"4.4 Q: ...OpenFile Agent...?
A: Open File Agent = BAD. "
with no explanation... However, I tend to believe the Exchange community over
what a salesperson tells me. He was going on and on and on about how much I
need this option without really saying why.

again. This happened on a desktop I tried also. Obviously I want my lapto
