I have a public folder contact list (Master Contact) with 4000 contacts.
When I try to go from A to H

If I close Outlook and then go to H everything is there. I have tried it
on the Server with 1gb of ram it it still does

I am in the process of deploying MS's instant messaging for one of my clients. One of
my gripes in the past has been the lack of centralized contacts storage like you find
with AIM, Yahoo pager or MSN messenger. Each user has to put in their contacts at each
new machine that they log on to.
Is it possible? If so how?
I have a list of contacts from an affiliated company's Exchange server in
Excal format and I need to import it. Any idea how?

in Outlook, they have to add the Outlook Address Book first. Then they go
find the PF contact list, right-click and go to Properties | Outlook

No, I mean when you open the Contact itself. There's an e-mail address
field, and you should be able to double-click whatever you see in that
field to see
Are the quotes really in the address? If so that might be causing your problems.

PF
and just import it once? Regarding the original question... Not using
Outlook alone, but it's certainly possible programmatically.
