Hello
All.
Can anyone recommend
a good mail spooler?I want to place the mail spooler on a different
server, have this server recive mail and forward it to the exchageserver, so i
dont have direct connection between the i-net and my
mailserver.
Any suggestions are
much appreciated
It's my understanding that, although Exchange and Outlook communicate
using RPCs, you have to configure Outlook to use encrypted RPCs. In
Outlook, go to Tools / Services and choose the Properties of the
Microsoft Exchange Server service. On the Advanced tab, you'll see a
section called Encrypt
Oops, sinking my head in shame. Off course it was wrapped.

Hi All,
It has been mentioned that you can limit the amount of RAM that Exchange
Server 5.5 uses. Is this correct? If so what configuration changes do I need
to make? My main problem is that the STORE.EXE process currently
running on my email server is using 75Mb of RAM and I think this is
Sounds like you don't have enough RAM in your server to start with,
but try running Exchange Optimizer (sic).

The Optimizer allows you to limit the amount of memory used by Exchange.
How much RAM does the server have if 75Mb for STORE.EXE might be a problem?
Our STORE.EXE is currently using c. 170Mb - of 512Mb, and supports 350 users
fine. (Exchange 5.5 SP4 on NT4.0 SP6a)
A while back we found
Get more ram as 75MB is pretty low for store usage. I guess your server
only has 128MB, bump it up to 256MB or even better 512MB.

Title: RE: An Exchange guru question - Please help
I've heard that some virus scanners sitting on exchange boxes running the IMC can cause attachments to be lost, depending on the way they scan. Is this an exchange aware scanner? I.e. Does it plug into exchange server, like Antigen or Trend ?
Thank you. I must have looked in this tab a thousand times and never
