I have an Exchange server (5.5 sp4) which will not let me delete a
particular mailbox (using exchange admin).
It keeps reporting that the information store is not running. However if I
create a new box then delete that one, it works fine. I am sure the problem
is the mb itself. brbrDoes anyone
If there is information store limit, take out of it. If you have more than
one Exchange servers in same site, try to move this mailbox to another
server, then delete it.

authentication integration with your domain on the unix machines, but as far
as policies I am not sure.

I agree with Drewski.. typically you disable it as most ADMINS have some sort of backup solution. The backup solution manages the logs and in turn your space. Make sure you check the FLUSH LOGS if such a setting exists on your backup solution.
