Anybody have any articles that suggest how many mailboxes ONE Exchange Admin should support? I'm sure it varies greatly from company to company, but I'm just trying to get a general baseline. How many do you guys support? Thanks!

It really depends on what they have you do. I'm primary Exchange support for about 50 companies and primary AD support for about 25. Last week was ridiculous, but generally I don't have any trouble keeping up. I do write a lot of PowerShell though - I hate doing tasks more than once manually.

I have an Exchange 2010 RC that was brought up on our network and is now visible on our Exchange 2003 and Exchange 2010 STD servers. No email was ever routed to the RC. Any suggestions on the best way to permanently remove it from our domain? Thanks.

Exchange 2010 Site Resilency Clarification

All- I'm looking at deploying E2K10 at a customer site. What I'm trying to get my head around is site resiliency within E2K10. I understand DAG's and you can have up to 16 copies of each DB etc... What I'm trying to figure out is, if Site A goes down how does Site B pick up within Exchange?

Ok I found my answer, exchange 2007 is not supported with 2008r2 servers. It looks like there is some xml fix, but I think I have to also go back and create a new vm with just 2008 not 2008r2 as that doesn't appear to be supported either. I guess I should have thought to look this up beforehand J j
