I have two E2k SP2 servers running in native mode where the public folders are not
replicating. System Manager indicates that there are replicas on both machines but
when I look at the list of public folders they do not exist. When I turned up logging
to maximum I found the following error me

Got 2 E2K3 servers in question here. One single mailbox and one new server
that is a clustered E2K3 box. I'm trying to replicate PF's from the old server
to the new. But the problem is that the replication isn't taking place. If I
add the new server and click on a PF it shows up blank.
We have a single email server (exchange 2003 sp2) which I am trying to replace
by using a swing migration. I have added the new server into the same
organisation and I can send email – both internally and externally. The problem
is that public folders are not replicating correctly. I have enable

Just setup our first E2k server and joined it to our 5.5 site. We're trying to get public folders replicated to the 2000 server. Here's the order we did things:
AD Domain was already setup in mixed mode
1 Exch. 5.5 site with a single server
Did you put the same SSL certificate on both?

Replication messages are SMTP and they go through the SMTP queues.
The most common issue I've seen that fits your situation is that the
replication messages are getting marked as poison-q messages and are being

Ok, just checked the AV, and funny thing the AV is disabled on the old
server and there is nothing trapped by the new server.

That has nothing to do with sp1/sp2/whatever. Public folders have always
been that way. PF replication is black magic.
