2000 is supposed to be relay-secure out of the box. So unless you changed
something in the SMTP virtual server properties, then you shouldn't be
relaying.

Yah but you are unable to
send from outside the domain as well. Not a very nice tradeoff. All my outside
users now either have to use OWA or I have to open up the anonymous on the smtp
so they can continue to function.
