Tim, It'd be good to check 1st what is generating these logs. Our setup is similar to yours, same products etc. The logs sound as if they are temps generated by BackUp Exec. Why not double-check then call their support? Sometimes if your are getting OTM errors or warnings in your Event logs, i

Tim, I'm not a Exchange expert, but I don't think those are the transaction log files that are flushed when a backup is done (at least they aren't on my Exchange Server) Those are the MDBData logs and usually start like edb.log and they are always 5,120KB. The log files you are looking at,
