Alright please bear with me...
I'm going to be doing a major reconfiguring of an ISP and there are some
areas that I'm a bit shady.
1.) Any advice on the setup and use of qmail will be appreciated. (I
heard it was better than sendmail.)
2.) I'm going to be reloading linux on a main server. Is ther
1) diable autosenseing (as everybody else said, it can really screw it up)
2) disable full duplex (only makes sense if your not talking to the same
computer, they weren't designed exactly for this)
3) How much shorter than 10' are the cables (100baseT spec says no less
than 8 foot)

I had a similar problem after installing 6.1. I posted questions on
here, but had very little success. Finally I just downloaded the latest
source from ftp.kernel.org, untarred it, and built it myself (doesn't
take long). This worked, and now I don't have the problem. Hope this
helps.

Has anyone used a hand scanner - Logitech Scanman Color with any Linux. It
is a handheld scanner which connects to a ISA board. Is there a standard for
scanners in Linux like TWAIN in Windows?

I had the same problem. If you update your printtool to the latest from cooker
it should resolve your problem. But I had to remove my existing printer first
and delete it's entry in the /usr/spool/lpd area. Once I did that I updated
printtool and re-added the printer and it's been good ever since.
