It's because of the LOCALE. Some locales are not complete
Correct /etc/sysconfig/i18n
to contain en_US
or do
export LC_ALL="en_US"
before starting gnome apps.

Any idea when they will build one? I grabbed a RedHat src rpm from

problem I'd delete the 1872 mb and the 128 mb partitions and then make a
10-24 meg linux native partition with a mount point of /boot and then
re-make those other two partitions you made previously. The mount point

Root access works fine, so I assume it's a permission problem with some

IIRC, you simply have to create a tmp directory in your home
directory for Lynx to work correctly. I am on an NT machine at the

Your routing tables do not seem correct to me.
1. Remove all routing entries in both machines except for the
127.0.0.0 entries.
