That would have been handy to know when it was locking up under MandrakeUpdate. Though how I'd send a CR to a process hidden behind a GUI is beyond me. (Fortunately, I haven't had this problem since I switched from cooker to 7.2 betas. And it hasn't raised its ugly mug under 7.2 final either.)

OKay, What I did was only use the UDMA33 ports for cdrom's and use ide3 port to run Win2k, and Mandrake 7.2. Win2k is the master 20.5 GB and Linux is on the 15.3 GB slave drive. The system boots off of the MBR of the master drive. Now in bios set the boot sequence to (EXT A C) and the next op
