I've started compiling KDE 3.0.3 this afternoon. I'm running Mandrake
8.2 with GCC 3.2
I've downloaded and compiled sucessfully :
- QT 3.0.5 (with all the ./configure options suggested on the KDE
installation guide)
- ARTS 3.0.3
- KDELIBS 3.0.3

Okay last one I promise until I get the newer Beta release. I'm on beta 3
right now. I just noticed that if I right click on an icon in the lower left
bar, like the help icon, I'm no longer presented with the ability to remove

I'm trying to configure some DNS settings and am stumped by the exact nature
of an FQDN.
The system is firewalled, and the external domain name is 1-2-3-4.isp.net.
However, I have DNS record pointing 1.2.3.4 to system.company.com, creating
a situation whereby 1-2-3-4.isp.net and system.company.co
