I'm using spam assassin with kmail. Basically, start the daemon with spamd -d (you could add such a command to rc.local so that it will start after a reboot). Then add 2 kmail filters (not POP filters). The first filter criteria is used to prevent exceeding spam assassin's file size limit of 25

I just upgraded my spamassassin from the 9.1 version (2.44) to that in Cooker (2.54). I then restarted spamassassin in daemon mode ("/etc/init.d/spamassassin restart") and it started right up. It doesn't appear to work any longer however. Incoming emails no longer get the X-Spam-Status heade
