I had my IDE-DVD working with all Versions of Mandrake from 8.1 to 9.0. But in actual Mandrake 9.1 all I get is Jul 24 11:20:50 linux kernel: cdrom: open failed. I have set it up as scsi-ide (as my first drive a- IDE-burner that works) Is this a known issue with 2.4.19-24mdk kernel? Markus
