you just need to setup the virtual hosting in on the web server .. and
if you have only one ip on the maching setup name virtual hosts .

ease just buy a scsi cdrw just about any will work with cdrecord and

you could always recompile the kernel with direct support for the scsi
chipset instead of using modules

I bought drive image pro and it provides facilities not only for creating

I've got one of those ... it uses the same driver as the adaptec 2940

OK guys heres a new one ... I installed mandrake and I am using it as a
mail server for about 10 people and here is the catch ..it's like
whenever a process stops it doesn't free up the ram that it was using
it works ok for 3 or four days after a reboot but if you let it go longer
tha
BeroFTP . I installed mandrake 6.1 today and with Bero I can't ftp in as a
real user by default ... it was easily fixed but I just figured that I
would say something

mandrake needs a web based mail package in the next distro
setting up some software... i don't know if it's true or not I haven't used
a modem since I was about 16 ... but if it would save you some money i guess
it would be worth a look

could someone do me an incredible favor and create a new iso with the
patches already in it (kernel etc ... )
I've got a toshiba laptop (P-100 115cs) running linux mandrake 5.3 it even
runs X great i'm looking to sell it because i want a new 300 email
[EMAIL PROTECTED] if anyone's interested like 400 or best offer
i have been playing with the throughput option on bero so i think i will
bring it back up tonight and see how it does .. maybe we won't have to
go so far as shutting it down
I haven't even read of such a feature .
but thank you and I will

that
capability (or if it has it I sure can't figure out how to put in in effect)
but who would want to download an iso from a site that limits you to like
20k anyway .
David Rodgers
does anyone have a script or program that will make mirroring an ftp site a
little more handsfree something I could run from a cron that will go out and
get all of the updated information say daily or hourly
where did you find an rpm of eterm that would run in 6.0 ... or did you
rebuild it ?
I need to install a bigger hard drive one of these nights but
in the end i plan to have isos of most of the major distros also in another dir
i plan to break the isos into smaller components to make download not such a
pain
if you email me a copy of your current address
I will certainly burn you a copy .. not sure how long mail takes from
here to there but
mail it to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

the final iso image of mandrake is available at ftp.napalm-valley.com/pub/linux/mandrake/
ok so shoot me . i got the newest install and it works
great ... i was only a day behind and i guess that was more than i
thought
there was a good release and a bad release ?
the latest release of mandrake has some serious issues ... the auto detect
of hardware in the setup (scsi & network) doesn't work as well as the last
distribution (actually it barely works at all) and when you select the
driver and try to autoprobe it say sorry to bad you're out of luck
fortu
how close are we to the final distro ... ?
i saw the site for the mandrake users guide ... if there is anyway that i
could help with the project i would certainly like to
i have been using a matrox mystique and it works like a dream
I've got plenty of bandwidth and space also
yes it would because it alters the original image just burn the
original image and make a new cd with the extras
