Before:
ASUS (older) mother board with two USB 1.0 access points. USB working
well.
PIII processor
After:
ASUS P4S8X motherboard with 4 USB 2.0 access points. USB not working
properly.

Sine I upgrade the start up script for USB cant "insmod" the necessary
modules. One the machine is up and running, I can insert them

I have just changed my motherboard from an old ASUS with USB to a brand
new ( ASUS P4S8X) one with USB2 i suppose. Since then the USB ports does

the module dc2xx prohibits gphoto2 to work as it can not get exclusive
rights to the USB device. Does anybody know how i can remove it
permanently. If I do a rmmod dc2xx it goes away, but comes back as soon
as the usb device is turned on

I am running Mandrake 9.0 on a PIII 533 MHz machine and a Ausus mother
board with Via chipset.
In the USB Viewer I can se the camera com and go when I turn it on and
off. I have loaded the following modules in the kernel: dc2xx,
usb-storage, usb-uhci and usbcore.
