Someone just gave me a SoundBlaster PCI 128 Card and I was wondering if this
card will work with Linux Mandrake? I am currently using v 7.2. Thanks
I set it up on a machine at home to use as my firewall/gateway machine. I
took it down shortly after to put LM7.2 on it. I didnt care for the wizard
type setup because it didnt work for my particular situation. other than
that it seemed fine.

I just installed the latest mod-php3 rpm from Mandrake update and now when I attempt to browse my website, it prompts for a download. I have stopped and restarted httpd but there was no difference. Is there something else I need to do to re-enable php?

I got home last night and my PC was in Windows :( so I rebooted into Linux, and apparently someone had not shut my system down incorrectly. Now I get the following error when booting up:

I am using LM 7.1 in a dual boot scenario with Win98 (for my wife) and she usually reboots into Windows and checks her email, then restarts the machine so Linux will boot back up. There are times that I need to get access from work, and I would like to know if there is a way
