Soyo doesn't make a dually board though, which kinda eliminates it from
this race :(

No.. there are no problems with the PCI card... Don't get me wrong, I
really like my on board SB128 on my server, I just figured for the

Well, being a hardware enthusiast, I would recommend atleast a 400W
powersupply to ensure stability. However, I would also recommend going
w/ the 1700+ or higher processor in retail box, as there price point is
about to move down sufficiently that the 1600 won't be worth the money.

here or on newbie. You may like to check the archives for those. Seem
to remember some problems, but at the same time the board was highly
rated for performance. That would have been pre-8.2 though, so any

always used Intel stuff in the past, I would ask that anyone who sees any
potential problems with the following hardware list to please let me know.
Would a 400W AMD certified pwr supply be advised here ?
