I used rpm -ivh cmatrix-1.1b-1.i386.rpm as root and installed with no
errors on Mandrake 8.1.

What you see on the console Is ( AFAIK - as far as I know ) all it
does.
If you maximize the console and run it, it IS the screensaver.
