Geezer asks: And what, exactly are serious meditators?
Dear Geez, It seems like with other things you know serious meditators when
you see [sit with] them. SRF/Yogananda meditators it seems are well cultivated
as serious practicing silent meditators. They are gathering for their annual

You know, on one of the last days of my six month *age of enlightenment* course
somebody ask M about something to do with his religion. M said This, is your
religion, referring to his program.. at least metaphorically.

I've had devotees of other paths including Ammachi's say they admire how
TMers practice regularly. Apparently regularity isn't taught in other
systems. In fact once my tantra guru said be sure to practice all the
siddhis for Navaratri. I thought, huh, I practice all of them daily.

I think you need to add and if you are very close as well. Krishna says in
the Gita only after many life times of this practice does one come to Me. I
know, I know, M explains that away as equating life times with
Once you're established in yoga then you perform action. That means
you might not need to meditate regularly anymore. The transcendent is
with you all the time. Usually it does not take many years to get there
if you have the right technique.

Actually in the post-founder corporate organization now it is about 30 people
who run the reaches of what is the TM movement today. Seems that conservatives

Right, well this is how most such groups, including of course the TMO, keep
followers intact and funds flowing inward. Stigmatize any kind of straying from
the core group.
Personally speaking, retting rid of the overt influence of the TMO was one of
the most freeing things I've ever done in
