If nothing else, Bailey sure has spunk! He's quite a little fighter...

Hi Nina,
Bailey is hanging in there, I took him to emergency Sunday night he
was breathing hard and fast, his nostrils were flaring and it scared
me. When we finally saw the vet he was a bit better, and he had a fever
of 104.2. She listened to his lungs and said he was getting air at

Thanks - I am going to try that with a couple of my cats who've gotten bad URI's. The 10-yr old -- that is really weird. Calico and her littermate WildOneTrixie belonged to an elderly lady who got them as kittens - they'd been born around her house. Once she got them they never went out again
I think I did two shots, 3 days apart, and then she got better and I
stopped.
The cat who is 10-- she has had FeLV her whole life and done ok? I have
never heard of giving I-R as a preventative immune booster. It's an
interesting idea. I get scared of doing things like that because of the

I've been going to ask the same question - if anyone has experience with this. I have a little 14mo old feleuk+ baby, Daisy, who is not only a joy to me but to all my kids at school. I want to go the extra mile with her from the beginning - there would be so many more people than just me to be he
Yes that is the name of it. I am just giving him an

that I have to give insulin shots. The needle sure
isn't as easy to get in the skin as an insulin needle

Hey Cindy,
Equistim or something like that is probably what the
vet called it. It is the same thing as ImmunoRegulin.
Is your kitty getting the IR injected into a vein in
the arm/leg or are you just giving kitty the injection
in the skin (like sub-Q)?

The vet fixed the shots for me and gave me enough for

can look tonight and tell you tomorrow. She didn't
say anything about IV.

I started Smokey on immuno-regulan last Wednesday. He
recieved shots for 4 days and then 2 shots per week.
His problem was a recurring fever. So far he is fever
free. He has been eating good and playing. He is
also taking Baytril and Clavamox but I think the
immuno-regulan has helped him with
Are you giving these shots IV or sub-q? One person said she gave them
sub-q, but the bottle says it has to be IV...

He paid a very dear price, indeed. I think the couple of months he spent caged at the vet, so traumatized that he was considered feral, damaged his health to the point that it shortened his life.Nina <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: It seems to me that Mr. Kitty paid a very dear price to give his owner
It seems to me that Mr. Kitty paid a very dear price to give his owner
an opportunity to see just how bad his judgement in women must be! I do
hope they both somehow benefit from his sacrifice. They must define

Thanks, Nina. These old fellas are just very special, aren't they. We all were thinking that by now Mr. Kitty's owner - they guy who got married - must be paying for giving Mr. Kitty up -- by living with a very controlling wife! We all think he deserves it. I've got to wonder how much you love
Sherry,
How is Gideon doing? I can only imagine how difficult it is on you to
walk heart first into all this sorrow. How brave you are and noble,

Oh Susan!
How very sad that you've lost your two sweet older fellas! I am sure
that Mr. Kitty and Red Man are up in Heaven singing your praises. How
wonderful that you were able to make their final home so secure and

Belinda,
I've been off-list for a while and haven't seen a recent update about
Bailey. How are you guys doing? You've never been far from my thoughts
and always in my prayers. I can only imagine how difficult his
condition has been on you both. I know how hard it can be to keep your

I'm sorry to hear about Buffy. Her roller coaster rebounds remind me of

Michelle, I'm so sorry to hear about Ginger. I hope you find peace in the fact that she was with you for a good amount of time, was happy, and her end was quick and not drawn out so her pain was minimal. I'm sure she appreciated everything you did for her.

Michelle,
I'm so sorry to hear about Ginger, how awful that she was not able to
overcome this. It sounds like her passing was peaceful and I do believe
she not only heard but saw you both before she left. From the sound of
it she was not in good shape and had she woke up probably wouldn'
