Since I'm new to this list, I may be jumping in to something that's already been discussed, but I like World's Best Cat Litter. It's made from corn, I think. No pine, no clay, and no perfumes. It does a good job on the odor, too. (Of course, I do scoop every day so it doesn't get to be too much.)

I've also spoken with a women who had 10 positives and in a 2 year period using the Mega C they are all now negative and have been for some time, so it is not only Dr Belfield that claims this. To me it is worth it to try it and I will continue to give it to my non negatives as an immune

In humans regular vitamin C can help to boost the immune system (this is why it is often taken at the first sign of a cold, etc. because the virus often lasts a shorter time and is less severe). Again, not sure how well this transfers to cats, but as long as it is not harmful to the cat, I would

Flavia was down to between 6-7.5 on June 22/05 when she had her transfusion. The transfusion raised her PCV to 21 but it gradually dropped again over the next 2 weeks and she was euthanized when it reached 10 on July 6. The 2 weeks at least gave breathing space to try other measures. -

I'm not sure if he/she got rescued or killed. I'm not sure even if the shelter he is at is a humane euth shelter, MANY of them still use gas chambers, you know. I hope he was humanely euthed by now... or rescued and given medical care, one of the two (though I think euth would be kinder).
