It can take 4 weeks or more to get that male smell out. But it can also smell bad if they have a UTI, as someone mentioned. Do they still sell that first alert litter that detects a UTI? Beth Kat <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: Melissa, About how old is Cassidy? I know you just had him ne

The 18 gallon ones are easy to change out. I just use a skill saw to cut the u-opening. My cats have never been concerned about how neat it is. Evaluate the jumping ability of your cats to decide how high up the box you need to go. Dixie is so athletic that I haven't cut a hole for her yet.

Melissa, About how old is Cassidy? I know you just had him neuterd - maybe the vet accidentally released some male "tom-cat" hormones during the neutering. Tom-cat urine oder is BEYOND strong!! And it can take about 4 weeks for the hormones to clear after surgery. Give your vet a call and let

You can mix the crystals with the clay--I do and it works pretty good. Dixie gets the little round pearls in the pads of her paws so we are trying the chips. Also consider using a Rubbermaid or knock off storage box for his litter box (no lid please). I use the 18 gallon or larger ones and cu
