Hideyo,
Have you tried catnip? That always
gives my cats the munchies. I
I am trying. The last one was done by Simon's oncologist. He can't do
it for my other cats. The local vet agreed to do it but never seems to actually
do it. I need to keep bugging her.

the munchies. I just dump it on a plate for them. After they roll around on it
for a few minutes, they always head right for the food dish. Probably not as
effective as the prescription stuff though. But they sure get a kick out of it
Sorry, I found it - I must have overlooked it - thank you, Michelle!

I sent a reply the last time you asked with the info that your vet needs to
send to the FDA. It was the second time I reposted it from the archives. It
was about a week ago. Please look for it there, because otherwise I have to get
on our other computer and look from it in my files and cut and
Michelle,
You can also put in another application for VO yourself. I've gotten
two okays for Grace and one for Jazz. I have one sitting at my vet's
office waiting until I have enough money to order it.

Hideyo,
I'm sorry Ginger is off her food again. My Gypsy is a really finicky
eater and will stop eating too. I can't remember who suggested it,
(Belinda, maybe?), but when I've had to syringe feed Gypsy, I tell her
that I won't have to do this, if she'll eat on her own. I also offer
her food
It is fine to use for FeLV+ cats. I have done so many times. Sometimes you
need to use less than the prescribed amount, though, because a small percentage
of cats are very sensitive to it and get really groggy and disoriented from it.

Ciproheptidine is an antihistimine with a side effect of making cats and dogs
hungry, so vets prescribe it as an appetite stimulant. You need to get it
from a vet.

You look inside their mouth. I think Kerry was referring to ulcers inside the
mouth, not the stomach.

Hideyo,
I think you should try Immuno-regulin for her. Your vet should be able to
get it. also, can you start the process to get VO? If you start the process
to get it yourself, I can send you one of my remaining two boxes of it (good
for one 5 day dose, or more if she weighs under 11 pounds
what is cypro? Do I get it at a health store?
Thank you!

May be worth you checking
she doesn't have ulcers. That's what Levi had (as well as anemia) when he
stopped eating. Kerry
