Neil, I have not had this happen, but feel this is a good thing. So many vets just chalk up illnesses to FeLV if a cat tests positive (and many times, the tests can be wrong), and then give up on treating the actual illness because they have such a negative view of FeLV. Now you guys can focus

Hi Neil, Welcome to the FeLV group. I am sorry to hear that your kitty is having such a hard time. This group is probably the BEST place for you to have landed because there are so many knowledgeable people here. As far as anemia goes, I am no expert, and lost my kitty to it two months ago.

Hello Neil, I'm so very sorry to hear this news about your little baby. Everyone on this list understands the depth of your emotion at a time like this. It isn't possible for you to "blabber", sometimes it helps to pour your heart out to those that understand. If you read back in the archives,

: hello and new to the group Hi Neil, You need to find out if her anemia is the regenerative type (or the non-regenerative type). The Doxy and Pred may help if she has a blood parasite called Hemobartonella (which doesn't always show up on a blood smear). Ask your vet if she is a candidate
