It is a Long Island Cheese, a very long keeping winter squash/pumpkin. I did
not notice any mold on it. I did scrub it b4 cooking. I also gave him half
an amoxicillin my vet told me it causes mucus which helps with elimination.
He peed well today. I had moved his litter box the utility room a week
I would remove the blind eye if your vet thinks he would be strong enough
for the surgery, it's pointless to keep a source of pain which serves no
purpose other than to create pain. Blind cats really do very well, I know
you don't want it to come to that, but blind and comfortable would be
Can someone remind me, is pumpkin supposed to be a laxative, or a cure for
diarrhea? Some people on the Sphynx rescue list are feeding it to their cats as
treats, and I'm curious as to if this is a good idea (will feeding it to
"normal" cats make them get diarrhea or become c

Like any fiber, it's suppose to regulate. I can't get anyone in my
house to eat it, so I can't vouch for how well it works. Everyone
seems to pull out the suggestion, so it must be helping somebody.

How long should I wait for the canned pumpkin to take effect? I laced
it with SEB. I'm thinking of taking him to the emergency vet - who I
don't much trust. I've had bad luck there. The vet gave him a gentle
enema yesterday because I was so concerned as Fu had nearly died after

If his lymphoma is out of remission, I would suggest talking to the vet about putting him on dexamethasone and depomedrol shots instead of prednisone pills. They are stronger and also reduce the need for pilling. They shrink lymphoma. I don't know if you were on the list and following when my

lymphoma went out of remission, she was frequently in the box
trying to poop, nothing came

I understand. I agree that he may need another enema. But if he gets one and it works, I am saying that I think you should put him on Slippery Elm afterwards to prevent this happening again, or pumpkin. I have not tried Pumpkin for this, but hear it works well. I think the Slippery Elm

I don't think so but I honestly am not sure. I have taken it with other meds and have given it to my cats with other meds and have never noticed a difference. I do not think it coats the stomach long-term, but gets mixed in with the food being digested and helps regularize its consistency. If
The canned pumpkin worked on Amber within 3 hours, but she was not in the stage FU is in, I am not sure what to do.Regretfully I would take her to the vet, but maybe not let the vet do anything, maybe they can tell you what to do
