I too have had this problem, but it was not so easily solved. In the end, I had to start Windows in Safe mode and remove all the scanner drivers and re-install them. Without doing it in safe mode it seemed to keep adding scanner drivers! Using Safe mode was the trick! --- Gregory Georges Really
