Anyone else had a problem with installing the Newest version of the
Viewer? I can't even seem to get it to install. I 2x click it and
nothing happens. :/

You can make pdf files using ghostscript, which is free:

I didn't. That's done by the Sibelius guy at his end. And apropos of

Why? Not a clue.

Yes, I have been using these since they came out. The amount of material on
each CD is simply staggering.

I wish to import a page of a pdf file into Finale as a graphic. TIFF
and PICT graphics created from the page print much too coarsely,
comparable to what can be seen on screen. An EPS version shows no
preview, incorrect margins, and causes a postscript error when
printing is attempted. Now what?

Seems to me that, as long as it's done for private use, you can do what you
please with the material purchased on the CD-ROM.

Hi all,
I realized a bit too late that the default file I'd adoped had changed my
default fonts from the Type 1 version to the TrueType version. So the
embedded fonts for the last few months for Maestro and Engraver stuff have
all been TrueType.

Does your printer have such capabilities in its setup routine? Perhaps
you can select that (I know that at least HP inkjets have such

simply print the pdf file 2 pages at a time.
