I think the easiest method for entering long strings of identical
value triplets is the "hands-free MIDI method". In the user manual it
can be found in chapter 16 at "Speedy Entry - To enter many notes of
the same value".

If you don't have other standard 4/4 rhythms running at the same time,
you can change the time signature so that it has a 4 on the top and a
dotted-quarter on the bottom so the beaming is correct and then click
