Maybe we are related. I have a cousin of some kind named Rie Moeller and my grandfather's name was Jorgensen. You live in Denmark? My grandmother was born in Denmakr (her family was Hermansen) and my grandfather's parents were born in Denmark.

Thanks for the additional suggestions. I still don't get how to use StuffIt
for this. Changing the extension to .bin hasn't worked (but I'm not sure if
I'm doing the right process with StuffIt though).
I am under the impression "TNEF's Enough" is for use on a Mac to read a
winmail .dat file.
I ran into the same bug in FinMac 2003, and reported it, and
apparently it is a problem with the way the feature was implemented,
to be corrected in later versions (I haven't checked in 2004, as I
rarely use OSX these days.)
The way around it is to enter the passage with the dots and the

You have to rename the .dat attachment file to .bin and then drop it onto the
Expander ...

This sounds familiar, but I don't immediately see it in the program options.

Am I completely misremembering, or not?
Didn't there used to be a way somewhere to set the size of the
handles for expressions and articulations and the like? I'm very
frustrated in particular with the slur handles, which at my screen's
high resolution are so small that I miss them a lot.

I can think of several reasons. For example, I was recently working on a
section of music in which the only way to get the measures visually correct
involved visible notes in layer 1 and visible rests and h

Yes. Incidentally, Fin2004 has struck me as generally the buggiest of the
recent Finale releases.

Is my version of Finale set up wrong, or are there simply lots of
things about music spacing that have gone wrong in the last couple of
versions of Finale? First there was the blank notation affecting
spacing, and now I see all sorts of problems with spacing between
layers with seconds and dott
Click the Lyric Tool > go to Lyrics (menu) > Lyric Options. In the field
next to Space Between Hyphens enter a large number (mine is 1728, using EVPU
as the unit of measurement). This will stop Finale from entering so many
hyphens, usually in fact only entering one.

If you've used the Cue Notes plugin, the cue has been entered in Layer 4,
and the cue name is just a note expression. Select the Expression Tool, and

The "Note Position Tool" worked perfectly.
Had already tried the "Speedy Entry" way...I could move the note but, it
would snap back to it's original position when I went back to the "Arrow
