I just double checked my file -- I made sure the fermatas are articulations. I made sure the articulations are NOT defined for any playback effect. I have tried Standard and Baroque and Classical human playback styles and NONE of them are holding the notes with the fermatas any longer than

Just tried it again, and it seems the fermatas ARE playing back IF I begin playback using the playback controls. Silly me, I thought playback was playback, so I was using the old spacebar-click playback method. So NOW my question is, how can I get it to hold the fermatas longer? Jari

I am following the OLD to define a shape for an expression Fermata (apparently the only kind that plays back despite the articulation's fermata settings for duration and choosing a percentage). I can get to the shape creation screen and draw the shape just as they say in the OLD. I click OK,
