WinFin and MacFin generally work the same. (Same menus, same basic sequences, etc.) QuickKeys or one of its competitors is essential. I don't know why your friend had trouble w/ Quickkeys. It works gre4. at. MacFin is still OS9 only, and you will be frustrated if you try to use it in OSX
