I use this option myself but I would rather type slower tempo in transport
toolbar,
besides Hyperscribe will jump to any tempo change already in the score,
so what we need more is something like record x times slower option -- a
set and forget kind :)

There are many Finale users who aren't on this list, and perhaps they,
too, have been frustrated by the behavior of the transport toolbar but
we on the list would never be aware of their desires just as they
wouldn't be able to respond to your remarks.
