I run into this problem from time to time...
If you want to change all instances of a group name after optimization,
you either have to change every instance of it in every system, or
remove and re-apply the optimization to every system.
Is there some way to do this globally *without* losing all

EPS worked fine for me in FinMac2002 and 2003, in system 9. It works
after a fashion in 2005 in OSX as well, it's just that the previews
are such low quality as to be illegible, but they print OK.
That's what has forced me to switch to 600dpi TIFF. I like to be able
to clearly read the music on
Here is a crazy suggestion, change the .etf to .mus and see what happens.
Please don't let anybody see this I don't want them to laugh at me :-[

Hi,
I have a bunch of eps files that need a different music font - is there a
quick good way to go into these eps files and change one font to another?
Changing the font in the Finale files is not an option, because they are
lost.
I'm on Mac, system 9 or 10.
Thanks,

Hi Everyone,
Recently I received a file sent by someone that was saved using Finale 3.2 for
Mac into an .ETF file, which are supposedly useful for just this purpose. I,
however, cannot open it on my end using Finale 2002, 2004 or 2005. In each
case, I get an invalid file type error message.

Since you are still on Fin2k3 you might want to check out JWTimeSig (a
plugin from Jari).
Unfortunately it doesn't support more recent Mac versions, one plugin I
really miss. Very useful in a variety of situations, not just
contemporary music.

don't you get the font warning when exporting eps ?
To my knowledge it doesn't work as it did in the
older versions and the font warning is
incredibly counter productive.

A time-intensive task I'd like to have (maybe it exists; I'm using 2K3):
Speedy Entry Match Measure Length to Entered Notes.
Exiting a measure sets the time signature of that measure to largest
integer beat, as configured in a setup dialog. This is kind of the opposite
of the current method, wher

Yes, obviously in its infancy, but could prove very very useful.
