Go to C:\WINDOWS\Fonts, click on file folder, install a new police, restart
windows. If you use adobe type manager, just add the font and don't restart
windows.

I was going to reply that such behavior often is a result of your
quantization settings or whether you have Partial Measures turned on
You are right, I have partial measures turned on...
Thanks.

Turn off Soften Syncopations. Then you'll get what you expect.

Very close ... perhaps 2 feet.
One possibility for the quiver is that the lamp's transformer (if it

In OS 9 you used to be able to select a group of files, press
command-P, and they all got printed. How do you do this in OS X?

Hi John,
Look at Finale Script...it is in the PluginsMisc. Menu. Scroll down
and you will see Batch Printing. Double click on this Script and the
Finale Script Editor will open up. Anything with // in front of it
will be ignored. You can remove and add // to fit your needs. You

A word of clarification -
Having Select partial Measures selected will not prevent a
rhythmically accurate mass copy action; not selecting the entire
measure (region) is the problem.
I work almost exclusively with Select partial Measures turned on and

Thanks Karen
That is exactly what I wanted. Now I can go and have a cup of tea while
the parts are printing.

I'd send them to you but mine are in French.

David,
I didn't say that very well. What I was attempting to say is I don't know how to drag select a measure in its entirety and only that measure. What you describe is great and the main reason why I use Select partial Measures.
Sorry for the confusion.

California (I note from you sig) is quite notorious for having
flaky power (so is Hawaii, for what it's worth). If you don't have
a UPS, I would strongly recommend getting one. They're getting to
be quite inexpensive, and well worth the cost.
Uhuh, Cal. is flaky in many ways, power being one.
Unfortunately, you can't.
Just as you can't set up the page size from file menu and have it
retained in the extracted part from that file like you used to in OS9.
Coda say it is not a bug but that Finale can't access the OS to do
this, so it looks as if we will have to live with it.

i have to print lots of things on-demand - so what I usually do is make
pdf's (once everything gets finalized) and drag the pdf's onto the
printer as I need to run off a chart. not great, but works ok for
my situation...
