I have a problem creating 2nd endings on bars that have the first note tied to the last note of the bar before the first ending. Using ctrl++ on the keyboard I should be able to create a tie that goes backward but the most of times this does not work and I have to create a tie manually. What is

Dig out your old 68k based Mac, network it to your OX9 based machine. Read the files on the 68k based machine and transfer the files via the network to the new machine. Don't know once there in the OS9 machine if your current version of Finale can open them but it's worth a try. That's my $.02
